Lots of MGs were shipped to North America. So it seems
that any sporty toy car is a MG. The person that wrote the other ads assumed MG.
Other than being right hand drive it has little in common with any MG car.
(Front hinged doors were very rare on MG cars. None in the 40's.) I am sure it
looks like one of the 100 or so manufactures of cars in the UK at the time. If
you could find one that produced a car that looked close to the one your selling
your odds of a buyer interested in purchasing your car would increase several
fold |
