This is a character from the BAPS collection of fairy tales. It is Puss in Boots. He has felt over a metal frame with weighted feet which enables him to be able to stand. He was from the Hilde Bartel and Edith Von Arps collection from Germany in the 1940s. He is vintage and has a few worn spots. The ones on his tail are pointed out with a marker.

An entire collection of BAPS' fairytale dolls will be listed on eBay. There are a total of 13 listings. 12 are characters or characters with sets, and one contains a grouping of flowers. I have not sure which set this is from...possibly Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary??? Please know that I happily combine shipping.
