All handmade Andean Jacaranda wood flute tuned in Key of (G )
The quena is the traditional flute of the Andes of South America .
The instrument has 6 fingers holes and one thumb hole in the back and is open on both ends . To make a sound . The player closes the top end of the pipe with flesh between the chin and lower lip and blows a stream of air downward, over a notch cut in to the end . ( G ) is the lowes note when all holes are covered . It produces a very breathy air tone.
