Portray the beauty of the Maasai people of Kenya, with this traditional handmade beaded necklace...

Sold at Kenyan markets to tourists, these handmade necklaces have been created in their tradition of the Maasai people for thousands of years. These necklace were once only worn by Africans, but can now be found internationally, worn by stylish folk all over. Wear it alone as a statement piece, or stack it with other similar styles. This necklace features just three colors; red, white and two shades of blue. Both seed beads, and other beads are utilized, to create a somewhat stiff and collar-like necklace. Metal wire is used instead of string, giving this piece the rigidity, and some silver wire can be seen throughout, including as the handmade hook & eye closure at back neck. Overall condition is excellent, with no major flaws or signs of wear to note! Please review photographs for full details.
