This unit will need a deep cleaning, and descaling. Water does boil, and runs through. The frother works. However I believe at some point someone left something hot on the top of the machine, and it melted the top part a bit. The middle part does not close down all the way. The hinges on the bean grinder part have broken off so you'll need to hold open the lid. I have not tested the grinder, or the ginded shoot. Only water.
