Franz Siebert (17 March 1915 – 17 January 1999) was a German staff sergeant who served with the 3 Kompanie/Panzerjager Abteilung 306 during World War II. The unit was part of the 306 Infanterie Division serving on the Eastern Front. He was awarded the Knights Cross on July 9, 1944 for actions around Kriwoi Rog, where he destroyed 10 Soviet tanks in an engagement. When he ran out of ammo, he dismounted his vehicle and attacked with hand grenades and machine guns.

This signed photo is a copy of an actual period photo. The signature is real and was most likely signed in the 1980s.
