Mexico is stamped on the hide. I live outside of the Phoenix area and have had this for many years and downsized my living space.

Handmade from a tree trunk.

Rawhide, skin leather pulled over both sides with crossbar rawhide ties

The total height is 17 inches and the diameter is 13.5 inches.

As you can see in one picture the hide has been used consistently. It is not thinned out. It is just discolored from constant pounding.

There is also a rawhide loop for carrying the drum on one side only.

It has great sound effects and the rawhide skin is in very good condition
