Please note the “try me” function no longer activates Elmo’s “tickle tummy” that being said this box is sealed and I have no way to test item with new batteries. I cannot guarantee function of item if you choose to open box please understand this. I am selling this item as a novelty collectors piece under the express understanding that it is in untested condition. Box is very nice still sealed from smoke and pet free home
