This is a very nice looking, high end custom Paul Smith London mens suit in a size 38L. This is the “Willoughby” suit model by Smith from Neiman Marcus and was $1295.00 when new.

This suit is made of a nice 90% wool and 10% cashmere in a wonderfully elegant weight material finished in a color called “Wood Bark” with a very faint light blue and ivory pinstripe. The base is a brown color with some earth tones and grays to it. The Paul Smith line of suits does feature very contemporary patterns to make you stand out in a crowd. The material is stunning but hard to truly capture the uniqueness with the flash on the camera in the picture. This is a wonderful looking material that makes this a great suit......so please see the up close pictures for the best example of this special material and color.
It is a 2 button single breasted coat with 5 stacked cuff buttons on the sleeves with the faux button hole stitching. It has a single vented rear, flap waistline hacking pockets, and it is fully lined with 4 interior pockets. The lining is done in a black color that features an old world map style lining detail with the continents, and even sailing vessels and sea dragons! This is definitely very unique once you start to study it. The exterior edges have classic light pick stitching detailing. This jacket comes with the original Paul Smith envelope that features extra buttons for future use if needed.
The pants have a flat front, a button with a hook and bar with a inside button front closure, they are lined to the knee front on the interior, and have 1 buttoned rear pocket for the true British look. They pants have angled side seam pockets. The pants are finished with a strait hem with the material folded inside allowing one to professionally lengthen if needed up to about 2 extra inches. They have the interior cuffs heel protector extra material inside for ease of where. Please see the photos for details.
The measurements for the jacket are as follows:
CHEST = 40 1/2 inches around the chest measured under the armpit area around the outside of the coat. We take measurements around the outside circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn by a person. We do not take measurements laying flat.
SLEEVES = 34 inches from the center of the back neckline to the end of the cuffs, 24 3/8 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuffs.
TAIL = 30 1/2 inches from the top of the collar to the end of the tail hem in back
SHOULDERS = 18 1/2 inches across the shoulder from seam to seam
WAISTLINE = 37 1/2 inches around the midsection of the outside of the jacket at the bottom button which is about 10 inches up from bottom of the hemline. We take measurements around the outside circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn by a person. We do not measure laying flat.
The pant measurements are:
WAIST = 33 inches around the inside of the waistband. Laying flat they are about 16 1/2 inches across the waistband. There is about 1 extra inch of material to expand if needed.
LENGTH INSEAM = 28 inch inseam measured to the end of the hem with about 2 inches of extra material to lengthen as needed.
OVERALL LENGTH = 39 1/2 inches long from the waistline to the end of hem
RISE = 11 1/2 inches.
LEG OPENING = 9 1/2 inches wide
This Paul Smith men’s suit is pure quality and knowing it is custom made using high end elegant wool & cashmere pinstriped material, you know this is a great suit to own proudly for many years. It is done in a unique color combination, but something that would be in classic style for many years.
Overall the exterior of the suit looks great! It is not perfect since it was worn, but it was worn only one time. It looks wonderful.
On the interior of the coat there are a few loose lining threads here or there but nothing major and nothing that effects wear. Not a big deal at all, and the suit is in very nice condition.
The pants interior lining is clean without stains. It looks wonderful.
Because the suit was hardly worn, and was well handled and taken care of, this suit is an easy 9 out of 10 in condition scoring.
This Paul Smith London custom made suit will be a great addition to any mans classic wardrobe for many years to come.
