A used hardcover book in fair condition.
First published in 1927 this is a 12th impression which I think makes this 1936.
Dust jacket poor which is a shame because this is a favourite William cover by Thomas Henry. However, I’m sure with some judicious restoration it can be made to look more than presentable.
The book itself isn’t too bad with some staining to the boards and minor signs of use and handling within. You could argue that the DJ has done its job keeping this book in reasonable shape.
Expect a little foxing to textblock edges and within but it’s minimal.
Neat inscription to the inside front board is for 1937 so is nicely in keeping with its age.
