Charming vintage original Mid Century, presumed 1950's, traditional oil on canvas painting of a delightful rural farming cottage scene
Set in a worn cream / gold frame. No significant damage, just vintage tired!
Signed, but can't quite make it out.
Beautifully painted, it does have some issues and may benefit from some restoration - although we think it's quite lovely as is.
The sky area has some cracking to the canvas and there are a few small areas where the canvas has worn through - but this isn't really noticeable and doesn't detract from it's overall wow factor...which it certainly has. Really rather stunning and with lovely detail.
A good size, measuring approx 57.5cm x 47.5cm to outer edge of frame. Ready to hang.
Not perfect by any means, but still pretty reasonable overall vintage condition and lovely!
