Ford Thames with a bit of history... Once registered as XGV 283 for those that would know this van! know the history behind it! Originally built by Alan Cleaveland and peter howe, Pete Aughton had his fair share of this van to! 

So here it is! As much as id like to keep hold of this and finish it another project forces sale.

1959 Ford Thames van 

Correctly registered in my name and v5 held! 

Full custom build frame (boxed and sectioned) Carl sawford Built finished in high gloss black. 

Mk1 transit beam front end, triple plated chrome discs and spindles, Wildwood callipers

Chrome drag and link bars, stainless bolts and hardware 

Jag IRS rear end, finished in jaguar red, again all chrome discs, shafts, knuckles and arms. polished hubs and chrome plated springs, finished off with pike nuts and stainless hardware. 

highly polished and painted appliance slot mags rears 15, with mickeys fronts 13 with brand new yokohamas 

The body of the van was fine blasted and epoxy primed ready to carry out the restoration of the body with all panels complete and included. 

i have boxed of bits to go with the sale including its original dash pieces and all bolt on pieces ie the lights, handles, hinges etc etc 

all glass is present. 

The frame as mentioned was built by Carl sawford and was boxed and sectioned, set up for sbc plate mounted, custom chrome th400 mounting. shortened prop is included but sadly no engine or box. 


Viewing is strongly advised as the pictures doesn't do the van any justice but need to be agreed as its in my lock up and will need pulling out.
