I left a couple of my cars to gather dust so they would look like "barn finds". I thought Id see if anyone was interested in them. If they are not required like this I will dust them off to sell them.

This is a special Maclaren F1GTR model as only 10 of the race only car were ever made.
BUT.... One owner had theirs converted into a road car and this is a model of perhaps one of the craziest and rarest road cars of all time. But why own it as a model? Because it is beautiful! (Im actually talking myself into keeping it!)

I'm fortunate to have seen many and sat inside them as I'm a big fan of the Le Mans Race and I used to live by Goodwood (went to the first "Festival of Speed" when it was more like a club gathering hill climb but full of exotica, including a Maclaren F1!).
ANYWAY! From those memories I can say the detail of this model is excellent, especially the cockpit. It some how looks even better with the dusty exterior too. The display case and box that this came in are both immaculate and the only issues are the plastic rear spoiler needs refitting and one of the side windows is a little lose. I'm happy to fix these or to leave them if you are an avid modeller. I displayed it without the spoiler as I think it looks better; emphasises the distinct longtail on this rare car.

This is a great story of the real car and it just makes me want to keep this even more!

I will insert bubble wrap in the box to secure the car for postage Although it is screws to the bottom of the show case, as all these models are, I would rather be extra safe for a safe arrival to you. This of course my take a little of the dust off.
