This kit features two white powerline adapters with a maximum LAN data rate of 1000 Mbps and a maximum powerline data rate of 1200 Mbps.

The adapters are connected via 120V power circuit from same panelboard, Adapter A using a short Ethernet (RJ-45) cable connect from the ethernet port to a LAN port of router, and Adapter B uses another short ethernet cable to connect the ethernet port to a LAN port of a network switch or the end user ethernet port (e.g. TV, PlayStation Console, etc.) to achieve connection between two locations inside of the house without installing new ethernet cable. 

In addition, the adapters have 2x2 MIMO features improves coverage throughout the home, particularly for previously hard to reach outlets. This kit is ideal for home networking and connectivity and is perfect for those who need to expand their network infrastructure without pulling long CAT5E or CAT6 cables. 

However, to make this Kit work, the two adapters have to be installed on the circuits coming from the same 120V panelboard, to achieve the optimized speed, the two adapters need to be installed on different power sockets but wired from the same power circuit using #12 AWG or larger THHN copper wires.
