Up for auction is a Scarce 1988 Dated Keith Haring Lifetime Monkey Puzzle Pop Art 750 piece, 24 inch Jigsaw Puzzle in Original Packaging, Never Assembled, Original Box, opened. The original Street Art roundel acrylic on canvas this puzzle is photographed from is entitled "Monkey Puzzle." This is truly classic graffiti style Haring work, from the peak of his career, and is considered by art historians to be Neo-Expressionism. It has a unique quality which contrasts with his more common solid color, or line drawing figurative work.
Seller personally hand counted all pieces prior to photographing them, and has first hand knowledge of estate collector that this was gifted to them, opened, yet assembly never attempted. Pieces will be contained within original box in a large ziplock bag, inside an outer shipping box to the winning bidder.
