The name Buffet isn’t only known to after-church Sunday diners, but also to clarinetists who know quality. The best of the best, even on Buffet student models.

This Evette is not in perfect condition, perhaps closer to used, as it needs a series of repairs to be regularly playable again. It will certainly need a partial repad, most have been replaced by white pads, a substantial improvement, but there are no cracks or repaired cracks in the wood, and the instrument fits together and plays, although the Sheaffer Barrel does get stuck.

The barrels are sized differently, and the replacement one from Vijon has an etch in that says 64mm, presumably from the previous owner who wished to differentiate the two different sizes. The original buffet barrel needs to be repaired, as the top metal bell ring is separating from the wood.

Thank you for your interest in this Evette clarinet. We do not offer returns, and it is sold as-is. If the item does not match description or pictures we will consider a return with compensation.
