Up for your consideration is a new-old-stock Cross Townsend fountain pen in the classic Cross Black Lacquer with Gold Trim pattern. This pen was purchased for my personal collection and has remained boxed and unused since then. The pen, made in the USA, features what appears to be an unusual 14k gold Oblique Medium (OM) nib - in fairness, I thought it was a Medium (M) until I took the photos for the listing! Also included is the original display box, papers, a converter (which will allow you to use whatever ink you like), and two Cross ink cartridges in black (although I would not be surprised if they have dried out). The cap is a pull-off cap (as opposed to a screw-off cap) and may be posted to the end of the barrel when writing. You can also swap the fountain pen nib for a Selectip rollerball writing tip (not included), increasing your writing options even more. When used as a rollerball, the pen accepts the Cross Selectip refill, which includes a jumbo ballpoint, gel rollerball, and "porous point" (felt tip - my personal favorite); I've listed the ink as "multicolor" because the fountain pen converter and the Selectip refills (are available in red, green, blue, black, and purple, depending on the writing tip) give you many options.

Cross has not manufactured pens in the United States in many years, so this is truly a vintage collector's item. Crafted from high-quality brass, the pen exudes sophistication and refinement. It is perfect for daily use or as a collectible item for any Cross or fine pen enthusiast. Whether you are looking to add to your own collection or searching for a unique gift, this stunning statement pen will make a perfect addition to any collection. So, buy it for your favorite pen aficionado as the perfect gift...buy it for yourself...just buy it, please. :)

Purchase price includes shipping by USPS Priority Mail to the US. I encourage you to take a detailed look at my feedback, and please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have, including if you'd like additional photos, as I am unable to offer a return on this item. Many thanks for your consideration, and best wishes!
