A very pretty, almost simplistic locket with a flower sprig attached to the front. The actual gold has not a 'gloss' finish but on examination almost a fabric appearance ( my thoughts!) on the front. The reverse is smooth polished with the hallmarks which are not easily read, though it could well be my eyes.

Makers/Sponsors mark is A & A M, but try as hard as I have, I can not find who this applies to. Somewhere in my memory banks,  I believe I have previously seen who it is, but.. not within present memory.  Clearly 375 ( 9 carat) and what I have come to accept is the Sheffield assay rose, ( I may easily be wrong) and Date C which I think is 1977.  Am VERY happy to get advice on this. The Marks look 'good' to my naked eye, but through the 20 loup, it becomes less distinct. Quite maddening.

Had convinced myself that this is earlier than the mid 70s, but that is what the stamp says.  heavens, that is already 50 yrars ago!!!   Half a century lol.  A piece of celluloid or plastic???? over the red interior.

Sadly there is not a chain to accompany it, but most pendant/ locket wearers have their own favourites.

A long waffle. Happy to try and answer queries.
