Lot of 40+ Philip K. Dick books. Condition varies, most fair to acceptable condition, some very worn. These books look like they have mostly been read and re-read, carried around, extensively handled and mishandled, and show a moderate amount to a lot of wear and tear overall. With one exception (The Zap Gun, see below for details) all are more or less intact and fully readable, just not always pretty cosmetically.
A slight majority would fall around or slightly below average used book condition, with some light to moderate bubbling or light tearing to laminate on covers, some creases (especially on spines, but not limited to), some chipping and small tears on covers, small moisture discoloration spots, page yellowing and the occasional finger smudge or the like...pretty typical wear and tear. The rest have more notable (mostly cosmetic) issues, like more notable sections of covers missing/chipped off, bigger creases, former owner's names/initials on inside covers/pages, heavier creasing and wear, more significant moisture discolorations. A few have what are some pretty raw/chewed up corners (Vulcan's Hammer and Divine Invasions bio have this in upper left back cover), a few have similarly chewed up/raw outer top corners of closed pages, notably the short story collections, which are rougher than most books in the lot. The hardcover (Voices From The Street) is missing the dust jacket and has somewhat chewed up/raw edge sections and the top and bottom of spine are missing small chunks. A few have more notable moisture discoloration or warpage. I'll note conditional issues for each specific title below (also see photos).

Biography and the like:

-Divine Invasions: A Life of Philip K. Dick, by Lawrence Sutin (2005 Carroll & Graf, trade paperback, 352 pages). Heavily worn, especially upper left corner of back cover and a good chunk of pages at the end of the book, which are scraped off in the corner/rough/chewed (does not affect text itself, however). Ugly but readable.

-In Pursuit of Valis: Selections from The Exegesis, edited by Lawrence Sutin (1991 Underwood-Miller, trade paperback, 278 pages). Heavy wear, including moisture discoloration and slight warpage to outer edge/upper corner of back cover and a section of the final pages (does not affect readability of text), some chipping of cover and especially spine (bottom of spine heavily chipped), top of spine bumped.

And finally included as a throw-in is The Zap Gun (1978 Dell Science Fiction, mass market paperback, 252 pages). I'm calling it a throw-in as it's the only one in the lot that isn't 100% readable, as the first paragraph of page 128 has been torn off the top of the page (the other side of the missing piece of the page was blank, it's the top of the chapter 15 heading page). It is otherwise readable, but heavily worn, including top and bottom sections of spine missing, creasing and chips in covers, moisture discoloration, and several stamps from a book retailer inside front cover and on first page (which is kind of just a hype page anyhow).
