Selling on behalf of my mother in law. Reluctant sale due to ULEZ.
'Mary' has been part of the family for 26 years (since 1998). Only one previous owner.
Main points:
- Only 44,000 miles
- Dry stored and SORN for the last three years and just recommissioned with a new battery and oil change.
- New MOT 24/04/24. No advisories
- Starts and runs very well

- Good tires all round (including spare)
- Lots of paperwork for services/repairs
- Comes with a very good black hard top (supplied when new. Now needs a new headliner)
- Rear screen in soft replaced

Condition
'Mary' is a good honest little car but 28 years old so showing her age. Described as patina these days. The bodywork has some scratches and 'dings' shown in images. No rust. One mirror cover has damage (shown) and there is a repair in the plastic 'skirt' near one of the exhausts (shown). The interior shows some age wear (drivers seat bolster worn). Wheels have some 'blistering' but are not badly scuffed.
The car drives very well and is great fun. Would be a good starting point for an easy restoration or just leave as is and enjoy inexpensive top down driving.
Mk1 low miles, low owner, unmolested MGFs are getting rarer. Prices are still relatively low so a good time to buy.
