Up for sale is a nice Central Railroad of New Jersey lantern with a nice CRR of NJ cast globe. Please see pictures and read the description.

The cage is a Star Headlight Company lantern with C.R.R. of NJ embossed in large letters on the lid. The Star logo is on top of the chimney and there is no dents on the top or the bottom of the lantern. It stands strong and sturdy on a flat surface and no off-centering. There aren’t any pin holes is little rust the bell bottom. The burner cannister area is clean and the wick riser moves normally. It appears to be painted silver and clear coasted.

The globe is in great condition with no cracks just flea bits around the edge. It's a very nice globe all-around with strong embossed letters in the center of the globe. There is one small air bubble and some light swirling in the glass. I do not see any maker mark for the globe.

Overall, this is a really great lantern in wonderful condition for its age. Please see all pictures and let me know if you have questions.
