Queen Myrrah is the guiding matriarch of the Locust Horde. Through both
fear and respect, she commands the Locust to eradicate every living
human, to ensure the Locust take their rightful place as the dominant
species on Sera.
Myrrah was experimented
upon as a child by scientists at the New Hope facility, transforming her
into the progenitor of the Locust Horde. She single-handedly gave rise
to the species, jumpstarted its militaristic culture in the Hollow
beneath the surface and led the genocide against humanity.
Her
anger against humanity and desperation to keep the Locust Horde alive
against the Lambent parasite is what leads to the catastrophic events of
Emergence Day. Leading the Locust as they burst forth from underground –
beginning a war to purge humanity and claim the surface of Sera for
their own.
