WW2 US Army Signal Corps RL-31

An extremely rare opportunity to purchase a complete RL-31 Reel unit assembly, complete with RL-31 folding A-frame, axle, 2 x wartime DR-4 cable reels (both in excellent condition - one with its original signal corps markings) , brake assembly, crank handle, 2 x ST-19A carry straps. Whole assembly in excellent condition and fully functional.

Its purpose was for paying out and recovering telephone wire/cable when constructing phone/switchboard networks.
