1930s leather and oak chimney chair designed by Adolf Loos and Heinrich Kulka. Oak and leather, see photos for complete detail.
There is a geometric pattern incised on the front stretcher. See photos. There is also a Reg. Design number 693982. There is also another number not etched but see photos, this is B5069.
It measures:
67 cm high. The actual seat height is 31 cm.
58 cm wide
49 cm deep at top and 42 cm deep at base.
The leather is held in place by bronze studs - see photos for details of starburst studs holding the backrest leather- one at top and one at bottom on each side.
The photos show the condition of the chair - nothing has been added or altered and I bought it over 40 years ago.
