A charming tea cup, saucer and tea plate trio, produced by Wileman & Co. under their Foley China trade name. It features a busy pattern of flowers and foliage in a vaguely Aesthetic Movement style design, printed in turquoise-blue. The design for the daisy shape - reg. no. 115510 - was registered in 1888 and the design - reg. no. 117220 - was registered in 1889.

The base of the cup has a fine hairline, which is very difficult to spot; the cup still rings cleanly when pinged. It is otherwise fine. The saucer and plate are in very good condition with light wear only and minor rubbing to the rim gilding, free of glaze crazing, chips, cracks or repair.
