GRADING - (Media/Cover) All grading is by visual inspection. Media is not tested unless specifically stated otherwise. Grading is obviously subjective, but I do my best to be conservative in grading against the following criteria:
Media- Mint (M) Immaculate - Used for new sealed items only.
- Near Mint (NM) Perfect
- Excellent (EX) Not quite near mint. Minor imperfection or collection with a mix of NM and VG+
- Very Good Plus (VG+) Light scratches, scuffs, old finger prints
- Very Good (VG) Visible small scratches, heavy scuffs
- Good (G) Moderate scratches, heavy scuffs and/or finger prints
- Fair (F) Heavy scratches and scuffs. Pizza party level finger prints.....
- Poor (P) Heavy scratches and scuffs (like living a teen's glove box for 3 years level of scratches. Will it play? Maybe. (If I list one in this condition it would be something special or the accompanying case is in decent condition. Most in Poor condition end up in the trash....)
Cover - (Jewel Case or Jacket)
- (M) Immaculate (Sealed CD)
- (NM) Perfect (Like New)
- (EX) Not quite NM. Minor blemish or imperfection, or overall collection (i.e. box set) is NM but some item within set shows some wear.
- (VG+) Minor Wear
- (VG) Normal/Visible Wear, Small Crack
- (G) Heavy Wear, Multiple Small Cracks or One Large Crack on Case
- (F/P) Deteriorated and more deteriorated.....
