The plate is from the very rare work of Eugene Napoleon Flandin "Voyage en Perse",In 1839 Flandin was attached as a painter to the diplomatic french mission to Persia to carry out archeological survey and collection of monuments and archeological pieces until 1841. The views are the first and most important updated views of the monuments and villages of Persia made during the XIX century and are considered the cornerstone of any collection on Persia.The collection of 6 plates volumes were divided in 5 volumes to Ancient Persia and one volume of plates for Perse Moderne.
