Nice
Vintage Silver (stamped Stirling Silver) enamelled shield charm sometimes
called travel, coat of arms, crest or holiday souvenir charms depicting Dunmow
(or Great Dunmow), a small market town dating back to Roman times. Steeped in
history with mellow plaster cottages, riverside church and beautifully restored
Malting. The town is well known for its four-yearly ritual of the "Flitch
Trials", famously mentioned in Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales. Never
sold this one before so would consider to be rare.
