Cleaning out some of my Fight Club collection and I am selling brand new ORIGINAL 1998 523 Sunglasses exactly like the ones Brad Pitt wore in Fight Club.

THIS IS TRULY A RARE FIND TO HAVE A 523 LIKE THIS

The 1998’s are a COLLECTOR’s DREAM AND VERY RARE!! These were produced in very limited quanities over 20 years aGo.

The original 1998 version is different than the Titanium, 2009, and 2002 re-release 523's. If you WANT EXACTLY LIKE FIGHT CLUB THEN YOU WANT 1998’s!!!

The 1998 version of 523's go for over 1000$ on ebay. This is because Oliver People's in re-releasing the 523 changed three key features that only the original 1998 version had.

1) The 1998 version had a 5 prong hindge. (As you can see these do)

2) The original 1998 version had a shiny metallic frame. The re-release 523's had a dull matte finish.

3) THE BIG CHANGE! The original 523 had a flat frame. The re-releases added a slight curve to the frame creating a rounded look. This is why the original 1998's go for over 1000$!!!

4) THE 1998’s also have stamped imprints on the arms and bridge. This is a true mark of original 1998’s. Only 1998’s had the STAMPED imprints (see how its raised in the photos) while re-release had laser etched.
