These two First Day Covers are specially designed for the 'The Liberation of Europe - WW II' stamp collection. The first First Day Cover is dedicated to 'D-Day 80 - The Road to Paris' and focuses on the events of June 6th 1944. Five stamps are affixed to the front of the envelope and cancelled with a special postmark, commemorating the major historical event that took place 80 years ago. 

The second First Day Cover commemorates 'Operation Market Garden'. Among others the stamps picture three Manxmen who fought courageously at Arnhem: Major Robert Henry Cain, Flying Officer J E Clague and Private Robert Cojeen. Five stamps are featured on the front of the envelope and cancelled with a special postmark. 

Both envelopes contain a filler card packed with details and information of each campaign respectively.
