Antique Glass Lidded Compote Opalescent Aventurine Pear Finial and Handle

Good condition, no chips or cracks in compote. Item comes with a sticker from a prior owner. Glass lampwork pear on finial atop lid and as handles on body of compote. Pedestal compote with lid made of opalescent glass with gold aventurine stretched throughout. Sticker on base of piece reads, "venetian glass dish $245.00 #59-407". Piece measures 7 5/8"W x 9 1/2"H. Base has diameter of 4 3/4"W. Area of inclusion in body of compote. Top finial pear has intact leaf detail and lovely intact finish on body. This finial is attached to the lid with wire and may be a repair at attachment joint. Regarding pear lampwork on body of piece: Pear A has leaf intact, roughness on finish of pear body. Pear B is missing leaf and small area of roughness on pear body. 

This piece is unsigned. Several Venetian glass makers such as Fratelli Toso for Salviati and Steuben, domestically, did lampwork compotes like this. This is a rare piece.
