This vintage nurses cape cloak is a rare find from possibly the ww2 or 50s era. Made with high quality wool (navy blue) shell and (red) lining, with a top hook & loop closure. The cape provide extra warmth during the fall and winter seasons, while the wool insulation material ensures comfort. The cape cloak style adds a touch of outdoor, medical, hospital, and military themes to the garment.
Snowhite Garment Mfg. Company (brand label) which made tailored uniforms in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Embroidered St. J. H. - R.N around the collar. Brass Buttons on front have Hospital Logo Embossing with "Nisi Dominus Frustra" on it.
Wool in GOOD Shape considering its age. Exterior surface has several of tiny moth "bites" or nicks, there also some very small holes present. Some discolor from storage near the collar and shoulder seam. Inter red lining also has small bites or small holes, plus stains, maybe in groups.
