Lovely Vintage Pair of
1950s Ballerina Girls
Made In Japan
-no box-

This is a matching pair of classic and beautiful dark haired, dark eyed Princess Ballerinas. They each measure 4" - 4 1/2" tall x 4" - 4 1/2" wide. Each ballerina wears her hair in the traditional ballerina bun adorned with beautiful gold guilded tiaras.  Their hair was most likely meant to be a little darker than the current pale black.  They each have on pink tutus and gold guilded toe shoes.  Their expressions are so very sweet and very typical of the Mid-Century Japan style.  Their bases are trimmed in gold paint as well.  Each of the figurines have some paint specks and marks here and there, but it doesn't take away from their beauty, if you ask me.  They don't have any cracks, chips or repairs, and only the tiniest bit of crazy in a few places.  One of the figures is stamped "JAPAN" while the other's dark base makes it difficult to see any marks.  They don't have original stickers or boxes.  They have been lovingly cared for on display for all these years, and it's time for them to find their next loving home.  I have described this beautiful pair of vintage ballerinas as best I can. I have included several close-up photos so you can see the condition with your own eyes.  That being said, if you have any questions at all or if you would like additional photos, feel free to ask, and I'll be happy to accommodate you. Whether you're a collector of vintage Japan porcelain figurines, ballerinas, or both, this is a must-have pair for your collection. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own these gorgeous girls
