Estate find. Iconic Caran D'Ache 849 model ballpoint pen. Made in Switzerland. Features advertising for Cailler, a chocolate maker in Switzerland. Pen measures 5" long. Dark gray or black matte finish. Pocket clip and clicker are chrome. Blue ink as shown. Push clicker mechanism. Body of pen is marked: 849 CARAN d'ACHE under the clip - SWISS MADE in rectangle above the clip - CARAN d'ACHE around the top of the clicker.
Very good vintage pre-owned condition. Has ink, fully functional, clicker and pocket clip in excellent working condition. The finish on the pen shows light wear with a few surface scratches consistent with age, use, and storage.
