A beautiful French solid silver wax seal. It is hallmarked with French boars head marks along with the makers mark. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully made and is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) tall by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) across the handle by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) across the seal and weighs 22 grams. A very nicely made piece.
