A rare Art Deco sterling silver Franklin Automobile Co. stud pin with a screw back. It is accented with orangey  red enamel and is marked "sterling" on both the back of the pin itself and the screw back. The screw back works perfectly and was meant to really hold the pin in place securely.  It measures 1 inch across by 1/4 inch high. Franklin automobiles were made in Syracuse, NY in the early part of the 20th century.
