Description: Antique 1920s - early 1930s silk lame with velvet embroidered fabric. Fabric is opaque and has a wonderful drape.

I acquired this piece at an antique/vintage textile and fashion auction on the East Coast a handful of years ago. Its quite remarkable and would make the most stunning evening gown. The color is a beige nude with gold glimmers from the gold lame thread. Each tulip is made from embroidered velvet outlined in gold thread. It is mid-weight. There is a diagonal gold thread pattern running throughout.

Measurements: 37.5" x 4 yards (there is a tiny amount with a piece cut out but I didn't include that in the yardage)

Condition: Excellent, near mint condition! Quite remarkable for a rare piece like this one. There are a few "runs" for lack of a better word that you can see in the last photos. These are mostly evident when held up to the light. The fabric is structurally sound and all is quite useable. There is no order or staining and every flower seems to be intact.
