This is a very well-loved and well-worn vintage bag with a lot of life left! Could be a great investment or craft piece.

Things to note:

-This bag is authentic! This has been my personal travel bag, although I’ve used it fewer than half a dozen times

-This bag is at least as old as the 1980s, if not older: the date code has rubbed away, but from what’s left it looks like it might’ve said “SD” (indicating a French factory location, which corresponds to the stamps on the rest of the bag)

-No major odors (including smoke smell) but could use a good cleaning overall

-Has white paint scrapes (pictures) that need to be cleaned/removed with the proper process (up to the buyer’s discretion)

-One strap tab has come loose and may need to be stitched back into place

-Leather is cracking and stained in places: could be dyed or conditioned

-Brass parts have a lovely patina that can be left as is or polished up (up to the buyer’s discretion)
