This is a vintage (or antique?) hand carved soapstone carving from China.

It's nicely made with two smiling people, trees and clouds.

I don't see a signature or any markings.

It's in good condition without any cracks with several chips around the edges and on one of the hands.

It measures about 5-1/4" tall and wide and 2" deep.
