For sale is this awesome 1975 Omega Flightmaster reference 145.036. This model was officially worn by Russian cosmonauts during the 1970s, the Flightmaster is one of the most mechanically sophisticated manual winding watches Omega has ever produced, having 7 hands, 3 crowns and 2 pushers. This example is in fantastic condition and benefits from a recent service.

Case: Original stainless steel case in great condition. The sunburst brushing has lightly been refinished and presents nicely. The tapered shape hides the thickness and allows the watch to sit comfortably on wrist.


Case back: Screw down case back is in nice condition without any scratches. The omega logo and jetliner unique to the Flightmaster are nice and prominent.


Dial: The original dial is in really amazing condition. The colour is stunning and in different lighting it can show shades of black and dark grey. All the writing and minute track are original and crisp. The lume on the hour markers have patinaed a slight yellow .


Hands: The watch has recently replaced service hands. These are amazingly colourful. A replacement yellow seconds hand is provided in the sale of the watch.


Crowns: The watch has the correct, recently replaced crowns for the time, gmt hand and outer bezel.


Crystal: The watch has a recently replaced, correct omega crystal with no marks or scratches.


Movement: The watch has its original manual wind 911 calibre omega movement. Having benefited from a service in 2023 by clockmaker in Sydney, the watch runs accurately with strong amplitude, This is show in photo with the watch on a timegrapher. All functions work exactly as they should. The chronograph functions perfectly.


Bracelet : The watch has the original correct 1162 stainless steel omega bracelet with 172 end links. The bracelet is in really nice condition with a little bit of stretch consistent with the age. The clasp holds tightly and the omega logo is prominent and has not been polished.
