This vintage 1950s box square shaped purse wristlet has a stunning geometric design of alternating faux pearls and rhinestones. The exterior of the purse is made of silver metal that gives it a chic and glamorous look. In addition to this, the beautiful pearls and rhinestone make it look even more eye-catching. The purse also features a lipstick case, comb holder, coin holder, compact (with missing powder puff, satin mini snap accessory bag and a cigarette holder inside. Everything the glamorous girl going out on the town would need and nothing more. Chic, simple and has a mesh silver wristlet for the girl on the go to carry easily.

Approximately 3” x 3” x 2.5”. There are 13 pearls that are missing from the front of the purse / handbag. There were 12 loose pearls that came with it which are included. The one corner of the rhinestone, pearl framework sits up a bit. The interior is a nice contrast to the silver exterior in a gold/ brass like finish with a plaid pattern imprinted into the metal. The logo says “Evans” and what I believe is the word “Elegance” . The Evans logo is on the cover to the powder holder and the end of the lipstick holder. The little light pink satin topped rouge/face powder puff is missing. It existed but it was disintegrated. I believe something organic was in it which hastened its demise. The interior had some blue/green verdigris type tarnish on it which most was removed; a bit exists inside comb holder. The gold like finish is worn off in part of the area of the compact lid. See photos. The powder puff sat in that area. The comb sits in a gold like finish metal holder which also has discoloration issue which I believe was from the proximity to the powder puff. The comb is a type of plastic or Bakelite. There are dimples on the comb where the lighter tortoise color is - not sure if that’s the nature of that particular part of the comb or a defect. The lipstick opens up by pushing the knob; the lid disappears into the holder upon opening. There’s a little coin holder. On the other side of this box purse / wristlet, in a separate section that has its own opening, there is a little black satin snap bag presumably to hold more money or a tissue that is held in place by a bar. There’s a duplicate bar in this same section presumably there to hold several cigarettes. Please see photos for all these details. Please ask any questions. Owned by one owner.
