You are bidding on:  A 1938-42 Lionel Prewar lighted #442 Diner. Light works with new 26 inch long wires, soldered & heat-shrink protected.

NO original box or packaging.

Good to Very Good condition. This has been in my family since the 1940's & was only set up during the holidays.
Minor discoloration and paint scratches from use and 80 years of storage.
Original paint overall still has a nice shine to it. Roof paint & front is excellent, w/ minor scratches, still has nice gloss shine in finish. All windows front & back are intact, NO cracks in frosted plastic. (SEE photos)

Includes #442 Diner in white/red with landscaped base. It is all original, with all original paint, including the red roof. The landscaped base is in very nice condition, and it is mostly complete with the bushes & lawn. The diner building itself is very nice as well, showing only typical small nicks & scratches. The label underneath is intact. Some original wiring has been replaced & extended.

Please examine photos as they are the best description. Nice original example, no reserve!
