Ibanez Bass Workshop BTB7MS-NML [SPOT MODEL]

BTB 7 string specification model with Light Multi Scale

Ibanez's BTB Boutique Bass is a high-spec bass with expressive power that stimulates the player's sensibilities. Like the SR series, this is one of the historic basses that represent Ibanez. The deep cutaway shape and neck-through construction provide excellent playability and sustain, while the carefully selected woods and independent bridge structure for each string ensure the look and rich tone that Boutique is known for.

●LM(Light Multi Scale)
The 1st string side is 33.5 inches, and the 7th string side is 35 inches for a comfortable LowB sound. This exquisite scale difference is far from the difficulty of playing that multi-scale basses tend to have, yet it provides a crisp bass tone that cannot be obtained with long scales. In addition, while maintaining the same commitment to material selection and construction as the Boutique Bass that BTB originated from, the design is not limited to any scene or genre, and has a wide range of sounds that will be accepted by anyone. I'm aiming for an easy BTB for him. This is a model that expands the range of multi-scale basses and sets itself apart from conventional BTB models.

●9pc Maple/Panga Panga/Walnut neck, graphite reinforcement rod equipped
This neck combines 9 pieces of hard walnut and panga panga wood in addition to maple wood, which has a clear sound image and rich attack. Graphite rods installed inside the neck enhance rigidity. The neck back has the same low gloss finish as the body.

●Neck-through structure body, 33.5 to 35 inches, multi-scale
The long sustain and rich resonance provided by the neck-through structure, and the seamless playing feel of the neck and back are arguably the BTB's greatest features. The scale is BTB's signature 35 inch multi-scale on the 7th string side and 33.5 inches on the 1st string side.
This is a unique design of the BTB LM model that ensures a solid sound even with the thicker gauge bass strings, while minimizing the difference in playability compared to a typical long scale bass.

●Laminated wing/body made of Bubinga/Ash/Okoume wood
Each frame has a different look. The wing body is made of maple wood as the top, and ash and okoume wood are laminated together.

●Rosewood fingerboard (w/medium stainless steel frets)
We use rosewood, which is the most popular material for fingerboards and is known for its well-balanced sound. frets are bright
Stainless steel frets are characterized by sound quality and high durability.

●Ibanez T1 pickup
This is an original humbucker with two separate coils designed for a sound with tight bass response, punchy midrange, and clear highs.

●MR5S Bridge
The MR5S (monorail) bridge is equipped with a string pitch adjustment mechanism. Each string has an independent bridge, which transmits string vibrations directly to the body. In addition, the saddle can be moved 1.5mm left and right, and the space between the strings (interstring pitch) can be adjusted arbitrarily within the range of movement.
