ITEM DESCRIPTION

This listing is for a sterling solid silver antique toast rack, hallmarked by the Sheffield Assay office for makers William Hutton & Sons Ltd in 1925.

With it's understated elegant design, this charming piece of history would complement a similar silver breakfast set for practical use. It would also make a welcome addition to any antique silver enthusiast's collection.

There is some evidence of tarnishing that could be fully buffed out. The piece is in excellent antique condition retaining it's original shape with no dents.

ABOUT US

100% of our proceeds go towards supporting our charity, Emmaus Oxford, which provides those who have experienced homelessness with accommodation, training and meaningful work. We run a small community which houses around 30 people at a time, whom we call companions. Most companions volunteer at our social enterprise, which consists of a large physical shop in Oxford, online stores and house clearance operations. A lot of the items listed on our eBay store have been picked, researched and/or listed by a companion, and every purchase enables our charity to continue supporting them, as well as our local community.
