How many strands needed

As a general guideline 25+ grams is used for adding volume & highlights, 50+ grams is needed for half a head & 100+ grams is needed for a full head. This can be more or less depending on the natural hair type and desired look so should be used as a guideline only. 

0.5 grams | 100 strands = 50 grams | for those looking for finer strands, or for those wanting to  add small amounts of volume

0.8 grams | 50 strands = 40 grams |  for those with medium length hair types too add volume

About Nail Tips

Perfect for adding instant volume, or a full head of extensions. Nail u tip extensions, also known as keratin bonds and u-tips are a popular semi permanent hair extension. They are applied using a heat connector wand and removed using acetone. Each tip has been coated in the highest quality Italian keratin to ensure a long lasting hold and zero damage. (recommended for professional use)

Choosing the right shade

We know how difficult it can be to colour match online. Our shade pictures are taken in natural daylight and show the best possible picture to the actual shade, however, different lighting and device settings can alter the appearance, if you need any assistance please message us with a photograph, we will help the best we can. 

Caring for your extensions


After care is essential to maintaining the quality of hair extensions and will prolong the life when handled with extra care!


Use sulphate free shampoo and conditioner such as herbal essences Bio:Renew 

Avoid your roots and bonds with conditioner, heat or styling tools

Use a good de-tangle brush or paddle brush don't brush wet

Use a heat protector 

Use a hydration oil, we recommend Argan secret hair oil

Wait at least 24 hours after application before washing your hair

(the hair will thicken once washed but be patient!)

Dye or treat your hair 24-36 hours before application

Can the hair be dyed

The answer to that question is Yes, the hair is 100% human hair so can be colour treated. There a few golden rules however when it comes to dying hair extensions, so if your new to colour treating pay close attention! Hair extensions have been cut off from natural oil supply and undergo chemical procedures during manufacturing so it is very important you colour your extensions properly to avoid damage.

You should never try to lighten hair extensions, using bleach or high levels of peroxide can cause the hair  to become dry and unmanageable. Hair extensions should be coloured darker or toned to the same level only.

 

Purple pigment products, put the purple product in water and dip the extensions in and out till the hair has reached the tone you want. Hair extensions are naturally porous, products with high concentrations of purple pigments put directly onto the hair could leave you with un-even results. 


We don't recommend colouring your natural hair while wearing the bonds. You should take the hair extensions out to colour and re-apply.
