J.Crew has been a longtime New Balance partner, and now the menswear retailer is offering NB fans a crack at six new colorways of the popular 2002R. Some are elegant, some are bold, some are quintessential “dad shoe” and one has already been released in the APAC region, but all six are striking additions to the 2002R’s ever-expanding lexicon.

First up is “Rain Cloud/Prism Purple,” a suede style that mixes tan and coffee tones with vibrant pops of purple and blue on the heel plus interchangeable purple and gray laces for extra flair. Next is “Night Tide/Au Lat,” which combines dark purple and midnight blue on its suede construction. “Rain Cloud/Prisim Purple” serves up a cloudy gray suede base with potent pops of purple and pink, and “Silver Metallic/Team Red” is the most “dad” of the bunch, bolstering its white mesh base with metallic silver and bright red overlays. Rounding out the offerings are “Black/Powder Green” — which livens up a black base with glowing green embellishments — and “Sulphur Yellow/Silver Metallic,” a hi-vis style that debuted on New Balance Japan in in 2021.
