This is an Olympus IMT-2 inverted phase contrast microscope.

I bought it for hobby use and have since grown out of it. Now it just takes up space.

The scope has a ULWCD phase contrast condenser and includes the following objectives...
  • 4x SPlan phase contrast objective, NA 0.13
  • 10x SPlan phase contrast objective NA 0.3
  • 20x LWD CDPlan phase contrast objective NA 0.4 (correction ring is frozen)
  • 40x LWD CDPlan phase contract objective NA 0.6 (correction ring is frozen)
Includes 2 stages, one for slides and petri dishes, the other for larger items.

All optics are in good condition with no fungus or delamination. Some cleaning is required.

The diopter adjustment on the eyepieces is very stiff. All other mechanisms work fine including...
  • Magnification changer rotates freely
  • Aperture and field diaphragms operate normally
  • Focus on the centering telescope moves freely
  • Course and fine focus adjustments work
  • Condenser focus adjustments work
The lamp house is in good condition and has a full set of filters; frosted, green, ND25, and blue.

Sold as-is.
