For your consideration a lovely Vintage AJC (The American Jewelry Chain Company) beautifully designed Gold Tone Elephant Head Brooch, Signed. Note the enameled ivory toned tusks. Circa 1980's.

Materials: Gold tone metal, enamel paint, secure roll over clasp bar, signed AJC. 

Measurements: 2 1/8"Long X 2 "Wide

Condition:  Excellent condition, no scratches or discoloration, kept in glass case its whole existence

This elephant in gold tone is a very hard to find brooch, especially with tusks that are not marred. AJC and AJMC pieces are rare in the vintage market, so it is in demand among collectors and vintage jewelry lovers.  

The American Jewelry Chain Company of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania (1927-1997). The jewelry made by AJC is always of unusual design, depicting animals or people in miniature scenes from life, or fairy-tale characters, sometimes with fancy signatures, they also produced jewelry for holidays and special occasions.
