This beautiful and vintage Staffordshire Enamels trinket box measures 2" tall x 1½" around.  It is hand painted in the Old Bilston Battersea Tradition (see photo).  It has a lovely scene of a girl with her pets in a garden.  Lid has a beautiful pink floral tree.

I am not sure what the slot on the side is for?
