Of all the vintage Singer sewing machine

and accessory boxed sets, these
are the most beautifully made.
The Singer
Hilfsapparate zu Haushalt
Nähmaschinen hinged presentation case
resembles a
jewelry box in design and
craftsmanship.
The attachments and accessories in this case will fit and operate correctly on vintage Singer side attaching low shank sewing machines such as models 15,
66, 99, 185, 201, 222k and includes the Singer Featherweight 221.

Nähmaschinen box opens out into two equal
parts on two
hinges.
Inside, two flat velvet covered trays can be removed by gently pulling up the ribbon tabs at the side of either attachment tray.
The
attachments and accessories are secured to each tray using steel clips.
Beneath the tray in the lid is a small
Singer green 21-page booklet titled
"Gerbraudhsanweifung fűr die Singer
Hilfsapparate zu
Haushalt Nähmaschinen"
(Instructions
for using the Singer accessories
for household sewing machines). The
instructions are written in beautiful Olde
German.

Nähmaschinen boxes contains a stiletto.
Stilettos are very handy to have.
They are used
to hold a layer of fabric down on the sewing
machine throat plate
during a sewing
adjustment or guide fabrics into tight places
such as between
the ruffler blades on a ruffler
attachment.

This type of shirring plate was sold separately and classed as a Fashion Aid by Singer Manufacturing Company in the USA.
The third unusual attachment included is the Singer Imitation Hemstitcher. Again, they were only included in this attachment case sold in Germany and were sold separately in the USA.

All Attachments have been Inspected, Cleaned, Oiled and Tested.
I see a spot where it looks like a previous owner glued loose lining back to the box.
I also see some tarnishing on the latch.
